Hello!

Currently in his 5th year of study as Integrated Masters Student studying Architectural Engineering, Tyler Hatton anticipates graduating in May of 2018. Focusing on the Contruction option, Tyler has held an internship at Barton Malow Company for two years. During his internships, Tyler has worked on multiple different projects including the Orlando City Soccer Stadium, the Fayetteville Baseball Stadium and Entertainment Venue, the Kannapolis Baseball Stadium and Entertainment Venue, and a handful of Disney attractions. This summer Tyler and Scott Hern partnered and entered a business enterprise competition, presenting a company pitch in front of the Barton Malow executives.  All these experiences have provided Tyler with invaluable insight in MEP coordination, project engineer responsibilities, and preconstruction.

During his 5th year, Tyler plans to take the LEED AP exam and the FE exam as an effort to further his learning. Outside of academics, Tyler participated in varsity Cross Country, scoring in the top 15 of the final conference meet. He has also been active in the community, volunteering as a rock climbing instructor for the YMCA during the school year, and aiding veterans in the VA hospital during the summers.
